![]() But it didn’t feel as bad as knowing that the Chanel foundation was 40,95€ for 30 ml and the touche eclat 2.5 ml and 34€. I just bought the chanel bronze universel creme bronzer and the chanel vitalumiere aqua which are my first chanel products. I asked the YSL Counter woman to try it out, we did. I was looking at the touche eclat, always wondering if it really was that good. I had to go buy a perfume for my friend’s birthday and got a chubby stick by Clinique. But then some kind of show (“Cinderella Project”) was on tv, I watched it, one was swearing by YSL touche eclat. I always wanted to, but then I was like: What the ?! It’s 2,5 ml (0.1 oz) and you pay like 34€? What’s wrong with you? I’ve been using Mac’s studio finish and pro longwear concealer and never had a hard time with them. To be honest: I had a hard time buying it. I’m really sorry to hear that for many people it actually doesn’t work. Just wish that it would last ALL day at work without touch ups, but by using the above techniques, I don’t have to touch up as often. Expensive products, but I think the make-up looks nice. To set everything (I have REALLY oily skin) I use “All Nighter” by Urban Decay (this stuff rocks and does not make you break out at all!). I also use it as a highlighter (over light weight foundation such as smashbox high def helath FX foundation, BTW I love this product too) on the outsides of my nose to the outside area of my mouth as a highligher and then the outside of the lips, above the lip (cupids bow?) and below the lip (it knocks off about 5 years off your face). HOWEVER, if you moisturize first, then put just a little of “Stay Don’t Stray” by benefit under your eyes & then YSL Touche Eclat then it looks awesome and stays for some time. □ It’s true if you use it alone it just doesn’t have much staying power or have enough coverage for undereyes. I have dark circles because I have difficulty sleeping at night. The shorter wear time on my oily skin (~8-10 hours before I notice significant fading) is a drawback but it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make for the beautiful, natural finish.Hi! I too heard great things about this product and went ahead and bought it. With the All Hours Concealer, however, I've experienced minimal creasing, even when I pair it with a powder. With me heading into my late 20's, fine lines and creasing under the eyes are becoming an issue. There's no clinging or settling and the natural matte finish looks and feels just like skin. The concealer blends seamlessly and the pigments fuse to the skin so perfectly that it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup. ![]() So despite the fact that the All Hours Concealer doesn't quite stand to its promise of a full-coverage, 16-hour wear, I still love it because the formulation looks amazing. Yves Saint Laurent | All Hours Concealer in "2 Ivory" & "3.5 Natural" With that said, the formulation fades gracefully without looking cakey or blotchy. In terms of wear, this also doesn't last 16 hours. However, as you can see below, the formulation camouflages most discolorations with no problem at all. It will cover most blemishes but if you are looking for a heavy-duty spot concealer, you may be disappointed. YSL describes it as a full-coverage concealer that lasts 16 hours and although the pigmentation is great, I wouldn't say it's the most opaque I've tried. So when I discovered the All Hour Concealer, I was beyond ecstatic because it basically feels like Touche Éclat, but with a much better coverage. The packaging here is definitely a little plain in comparison to other YSL products but given that it contains 5 ml of product, compared to Touche Éclat's 2.5 ml, I'm not complaining too much.įor the longest time, I had actually been using the YSL Touche Éclat as a concealer as I loved the amazing texture and finish. Most of the tube is coated in black with the exception of a rectangular window, which shows the shade inside. The Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Concealer comes in a simple plastic tube paired with a basic doe-foot applicator. I was sent a sample of it in a shade that was too dark for me but because I enjoyed the formulation so much, I went out and bought the right shade. Released in Summer 2017, the All Hours Concealer ($46 CAD for 5 ml) is a beautiful, medium to high coverage liquid concealer that applies and looks like a dream. Therefore, I wanted to dedicate today's post to an amazing concealer I've discovered from Yves Saint Laurent. As a result, I often don't have time to write about older releases that I use regularly in my daily routine. When it comes to deciding what to review on the blog, I usually aim to write and swatch products that are new and buzz-worthy.
